Vibrant Guatemalita jade combine beautifully with pieces of rough purple fluorite accented by with barro negro terra cotta beads from Oaxaca and Guatemalan elements. It features a bell, a charm and an old guatemalan coin from the early 1900s.
The clasp and the beads at the back are sterling silver. The coin contains silver but I dont known the quality. It does have value in and of itself.
The jade is called guatemalita. It is indigenous only to Guatemala. These beads are worked by Mayan artisans in the highlands of Guatemala. It is the most wonderful stone! reminiscent both of turquoise and amazonite.
