This is a magnificent necklace of graduated hand shaped pieces of Chiapas amber. The beads are old sterling silver from Rajasthan, India, purchased from a private collector. All of the metal is sterling silver.
This is an enormous amount of amber and large pieces. Unless new veins of amber are discovered I believe that amber of this size will not be available in the near future. I therefore cannot offer a discount on these.

Mexican amber is among the rarest and highest qualities of amber in the world. The amber is of a long extinct species of tree and is probably about 25 million years old.
